Fencing boards

Slatted fencing timber

Open slatted screens need a defined gap as well as a board width. Calculate repeat spacing from board plus gap. Confirm the finished dimensions and supporting structure before asking for quantities.

Email your completed list to Jeff. Attach drawings or spreadsheets in your email app before sending.

Start with the project specification

Build a fencing enquiry around the finished boundary, not just a board count. Board profile, cover, fixing arrangement and exposure all affect the timber schedule. Send a sketch or cutting list when several components need to fit together.

What to include in your enquiry

For slatted fencing timber, describe the finished arrangement as well as the individual pieces. List thickness, width, length and quantity with clear units. If the timber must match an existing component, send its actual measurements and a photograph of the profile.

  • The intended use and any ground contact or exterior exposure.
  • The timber section, length, finish and quantity for each item.
  • Any designer-specified grade, connections or installation requirements.
  • Your delivery postcode, required date and receiving arrangements.

Confirm the details before ordering

A quotation needs to identify what will be supplied. Check actual dimensions, treatment requirements and any structural specification against your project. Availability, prices and delivery dates are confirmed individually. Tell Jeff where an alternative section or length would affect the layout before accepting a substitution.

These guides help prepare an enquiry. Follow the supplied product instructions and obtain a suitable design for load-bearing work.

Discuss your complete project with our treated timber supply team, or prepare a cutting-list quotation.
